Trip Itinerary

  • Day 1 Arrival – Belgrade Sightseeing Tour

    Welcome to Belgrade, the vibrant capital of Serbia. Upon arrival at the Nikola Tesla airport, you will be met by our representative and escorted to your hotel in the capital. On your way to your hotel, you will get to enjoy the sights of New Belgrade with its prominent ‘blocks’ – a classic example of Socialist architecture, built after World War II – and modern business centers, including the imposing Ušće Tower. Gate of Belgrade, the famous Belgrade Arena, and the monumental Palace of Serbia are notable landmarks covered on this short journey. Upon arrival, complete the check-in formalities and proceed with a day trip to Belgrade.

    You will be escorted by our guide on a trip to see the most important attractions of Belgrade. The first stop will be the National Parliament, the impressive building built at the start of the 20th century, beholding the bitter history of Serbia. You will be astonished and impressed when you discover the mystery encircling the existence of the royal families or hotel Moskva which received prominent scientists, artists, state officials, and even two camels following a high-profile guest from Africa.   • Day 2 Optional Tour: Vojvodina Heritage Tour: National Park Fruška Gora – Sremski Karlovci – Novi Sad

    Enjoy a delicious breakfast at your hotel. Free day in Belgrade or Join our Novi Sad, Petrovaradin, and Sremski Karlovci (optional excursion). Explore the most impressive scenes of Vojvodina, a province in the north of Serbia. You will be escorted through picturesque landscape and Serbia’s famous wine region towards the ‘Serbian Holy Land’, home to 17 functioning Serbian Orthodox monasteries. Stop at the well-preserved monastery Krušedol, where you’ll have the opportunity to buy wine and rakija made by the monks. Continue the trip to the town of Sremski Karlovci. A real gem of Serbian culture and spirituality, Sremski Karlovci feels like a ‘museum town’ with its Baroque center, the Patriarchal Court, the Orthodox Cathedral of Saint Nicholas, and the first Serbian secondary school (gymnasium). This place is also famous for wine production and the town’s annual Wineball festival. You will finish your tour of this charming town with a visit and wine tasting at one of the region’s most
    famous wineries.

  • Days 3 Belgrade – Free day

    Enjoy a delicious breakfast at your hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure. You can explore the city on your own, enjoy shopping. We are glad to give you recommendations for some quality time in the Serbian capital, so feel free to explore: Belgrade Zoo – Garden of Good Hope, It’s located in the very ’heart’ of the city and keeps more than 150 various species, with which you can find: white lions, rare white buffalo, anaconda snake and many others. Ada Lake Bicycle rides or leisure walks or visits the New Belgrade & Zemun – Across the river and downstream, discover two exceptional parts of the city. There is a lot to see and experience in Belgrade.

  • Day 4 Western Serbia: Belgrade – Wooden-town – Zlatibor Mountain

    Breakfast at your hotel and check-out, Meet our representative and you will be escorted to Zlatibor Mountain. On your way, stop by Međuvršje Lake, the most beautiful part of the Western Morava River. Surrounded by the hills of the scenic Ovčar-Kablar Gorge, it is a great place to enjoy the traditional food of the region. If you are interested, your guide will suggest a perfect restaurant on the water according to your preferences for a delicious meal. Continue your trip to Tara National Park, and you will arrive at the ethnic village Drvengrad (Wooden Town), built by famous movie director Emir Kusturica. The village, which includes the Mećavnik Hotel, houses, galleries, shops, a cinema and a church, is made of natural materials, mostly wood. Since 2008, the village plays host to the annual Küstendorf Film and Music Festival and Drvengrad.

    After exploring Drvengrad, take a short drive to the famous Zlatibor Mountain, home of the first royal resort in Serbia. Here you can explore on your own the quaint town centre of this picturesque air spa. We recommend you to try out some of the activities below: Wind Rose Leisure Hiking – Nature was generous with Zlatibor, giving it its beautiful scenery, rolling heights overgrown with pine, fir, and spruce forests here and there. Gold Gondola & Tornik Viewpoint – Nine kilometres long, the Gold Gondola Lift offers you a unique chance to enjoy the amazing view from the centre of the Zlatibor Mountain to Tornik, its highest peak. At the end of your trip back to your hotel and overnight stay.

  • Day 5 Western Serbia: Zlatibor Mountain – Stopića Cave – Ethno Village Sirogojno –Belgrade

    Breakfast and check-out. Spend your morning getting to know Zlatibor from below the surface. Try out a new adventure – become explorers and discover the underground world of Zlatibor Mountain. The beauty of Stopića cave can’t be compared with any other in Serbia; its dimensions (2000 m long and 50 m high) won’t leave any visitor indifferent. Stopića cave is a river type cave, through which the Trnava stream flows. Several hundred meters of the cave are open for tourist visits, including the Light Hall, the Dark Hall and the Great Hall with pools. Although not characterized by a large number of cave decorations, it is known for its big tubs, thanks to which it is considered to be one of the most beautiful caves of Eastern Europe. After Stopića cave you will quickly arrive in Sirogojno, mostly famous for the Old Village (Staro selo), the unique ethnological open-air museum and prominent “Sirogojno sweaters” made of raw wool.

    This extraordinary outdoor complex consists of different traditional households: the family house, the milk house, the house where people used to make and bake bread, as well as the barn and chicken pen. You will learn about the history of architecture, housing and everyday family and cultural life, as well as the economic and social relations among people in the mountainous area of the region. Restaurants of the Sirogojno area proudly follow the traditional way of cooking and among the specialities which made Zlatibor widely famous, you can always find fresh cheese, kajmak, prosciutto, buckwheat etc. Spend the rest of your day in Zlatibor, enjoying traditional meals, as well as the magnificent scenery of this mountain resort. In the late afternoon, depart to Belgrade. Hotel check-in. Overnight.

  • Day 6 Belgrade – Free day or Optional tour: Danube Tour: Golubac Fortress, National Park Đerdap, Lepenski Vir

    Breakfast at your hotel. Choose between a free day in Belgrade or getting to know the current of the magnificent Danube river. This tour follows the flow of the mighty Danube and is focused on storytelling connected to the events that serve as “spectators” of the different times. Set off from Belgrade to the fantastic Golubac Fortress built on remote cliffs near the widest part of the Danube. Climb up one of the towers of the remarkable fortress, and enjoy the view of the mirror-surface of the Danube from an entirely new perspective. Your “time machine” tour will bring you back to the Neolithic era, to the prehistoric urban settlement of the archaeological site of Lepenski Vir. This unique museum uncovers information about our ancestors from the VI century BC, their way of life and mindset, proving that ancient Homo sapiens had been way more advanced than we predicted. The final destination is the Eco-ethno complex “Kapetan Mišin breg”, where you can enjoy enchanting views of the Djerdap Gorge. The complex is named by Captain Mihailo “Miša” Anastasijević and within the compound, you will find an open-air gallery called “Man, wood, water” is a collection of sculptures made of wood and stone.

  • Day 7 Departure
