After breakfast, proceed to Tsongmo Lake (12,210 ft) and Baba Mandir, a 40 km drive which takes 2.5 hrs. This lake is located very close to Nathula Pass, (on direct payment basis) which is the entry point to China termed as the “Silk Route” and remains frozen for most parts of the year. The lake is home to the Brahminy ducks and many migratory birds. Nearby is the Sacred Baba Mandir, which is highly acknowledged for its spiritual worth. In the evening you are free for your own activities, like shopping at the famous M.G Road of Gangtok then take Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
