The Netherlands is a nation which promotes cycling, thanks to its mild climate, flat landscapes, short distances and excellent roads. Moreover, the Netherlands is a country that prioritises road safety. The 30,000 km cycling pathway is so well-designed that it is impossible for you to get lost. So don’t miss out on this fantastic chance.

Stunning beaches

Its breathtaking beaches are another reason tourists come in large numbers every year to this beautiful country. If not, you can spend your beach day under the beach pavilion, which the Dutch fondly call Strandpaviljeon. Rotterdam

I have often felt that the city of Rotterdam has always been kept under wraps mainly because of the fame of Amsterdam. But I must say this city also has a lot of things to offer its visitors. Its main tourist attraction is the harbour area which has the magnificent Euromast that provides a panoramic view of the entire city. On your visit, you must check out the famous Shipyard De Delft, Spido Harbour and the 800 m-long Erasmus Bridge which turns extremely beautiful during the night. Rotterdam is also home to many impressive architectures and museums. Along with galleries and restaurants, they also have shopping centres with goods from around the world.

Sinterklass

The best time to visit the Netherlands is during Christmas, as you can see the country in a completely different attire. Like our Santa Claus, Dutches have Sinterklass, who brings lots of gifts and goodies to the children. Shops will be loaded with seasonal snacks and drinks, including their special gingerbreads. You can find children and adults dressed as Sinterklass, elves and helpers on the streets. In the Netherlands, Sinterklass arrive on a boat to distribute the gifts, unlike the chimney in other places. Dutches conduct many parties and events throughout the country to welcome him during that time.
