Breakfast at hotel, start tour to Halong Bay by road

Heritage Site. Magnificent Halong Bay, with its 3,000 islands rising from the clear, emerald waters of the Gulf of Tonkin, is one of the natural marvels of Vietnam. These tiny islands are dotted with innumerable beaches and grottoes created by the wind and the waves. Observing the limestone rocks rising up from the sea and red sailed junk boats sail by will be a truly memorable experience. The scenic 3-hour drive from Hanoi City to Halong with spectacular views as you pass through seemingly endless green paddy fields with women in conical hats working in the rice fields with their water buffalo. You will be passing through the organic farmland, local villages and busy markets guests will have the opportunity to observe how Vietnamese people go about their daily lives. Upon arrival at Halong Bay pier, you will continue to take a relaxing 4 h boat trip through the Bay with a fresh seafood lunch is prepared and served on board. Then transfer back to Hanoi.

After breakfast, half day sightseeing tour of Hanoi

Our guide and driver will pick up you at your hotel in the Old Quarter or Ha Noi Opera House.

Drive to Ho Chi Minh’s complex, visit the Mausoleum of the nation’s founder and leader. Here, large crowds gather to pay there respects to the man they simply call Uncle Ho as they silently file past his glass sarcophagus, Uncle Ho’s wooden stilt house and Ho Chi Minh Museum can also be seen here. One of most-see places in the complex is One Pillar pagoda dating back 11th century. From far view its shape looks like a huge lotus flower.The next stop is the Temple of Literature, the site of Vietnam’s oldest university and dedicated to one of the world’s most famous scholars.

After that, visit Ngoc Son temple and take a tour around the Old quarter through its streets which are named after the guilds that used to represent such as Hang Bac (Silver Street), Hang Gai (Silk Street), Hang Tre (Bamboo Street) etc…, Dong Xuan Market – which was Hanoi’s largest indoor market.\Finish unforgettable half day Hanoi sightseeing!
