Visit the Vice Regal Lodge when you return to Shimla; it was once the summer home of a number of British viceroys and features intriguing English Renaissance architecture. Get transported to Manali by road after breakfast on the third day. The following stop on the day’s itinerary is Rohtang Pass, which is 3,978 metres above sea level and always covered in snow. The season to make a visit is June through October.
