Proceed to the peaceful shores of Lake Nakuru which is famous for the flamingo and rhino, then to the world famous Masai Mara to witness the seventh wonder of the world, the Wildebeest migration. When you reach JKI Airport, you will be met by our representative and then transported to Amboseli National Park. It takes about 3 hours of road trip to get to Amboseli with stunning views along the way. On arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel.
After lunch, proceed for your first game drive in the Amboseli National Park. This park is famous for its numerous herds of African elephants, and during the trip you will see them feeding on the swamps. This setting is perfect for photography and one can take great shots of the city and its people. After the day’s activities, head back to your lodge for a scrumptious meal before retiring to bed. Two meals that are taken today are lunch and dinner.
Your day starts with a morning breakfast at the hotel. Amboseli, it is regarded as one of the best places in East Africa to watch wildlife. While on your drives, you will be able to witness many animals that include impalas, zebras, hippos and giraffes among others. Lions, hyenas, and jackals are also frequently seen predators of this animal.
The day provides many chances to observe and capture the various wildlife of the park. At the end of an active day, head back to the hotel to enjoy an evening meal and spend the night.
The day will begin with an early breakfast before proceeding to drive back to Nairobi which will take about 3 hours. Lunch will be taken at the Carnivore Restaurant in Nairobi which is famous for its meat dishes and lively music.
After lunch, proceed to the next destination, which is the Lake Nakuru, which takes about 3. 5-hour drive. You will then transfer to your lodge and in the afternoon go for a game drive at the Lake Nakuru National Park. The park has the most beautiful population of flamingos that can be seen around the shores of the lake. Also, one should look for rhinos, giraffes, cheetahs, and other types of animals and birds. Following the game drive, you will be driven back to your lodge for dinner and accommodation.
After breakfast, proceed on a road trip to the Loita Plains and take approximately 5 hours to arrive at the Masai Mara Game Reserve. You will get to your lodge in the afternoon to have lunch.
In the afternoon, go for your first game drive in the Masai Mara. This reserve is famed for its abundance of wildlife, including the opportunity to see all of the Big Five: Lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes and rhinos. The Masai Mara is also endowed with over 70 species of large animals and 470 bird species, which are a great attraction to wildlife lovers and photographers. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.
You will have two game drives in Masai Mara, one in the morning and one in the afternoon and lunch will be served in between. The Masai Mara can be described as one of the most unique and exciting places to visit in Africa. During the morning you could witness hyenas moving around to check on the kills of the previous night or elephants bathing at the waterhole.
The grasslands of the Mara are dominated by grazers such as zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, warthogs and many others. These drives offer the best chance to photograph the African wildlife and scenery in its natural state. As you end the day with such an exciting experience of wildlife, you will be taken back to your hotel or lodge for dinner and overnight.
The last day is also the day to relax and have your breakfast at the hotel before proceeding to Nairobi which is 5 hours’ drive. After the exciting tours and wildlife viewing, you will be transferred to JKI Airport in Nairobi to catch your flight back home, thus ending your amazing African safari experience.
