  • DAY 01: ARRIVAL TRANSFER

    Arrives Rio de Janeiro, our representative will meet you and transfer to hotel, rest of the day free for your own activities.  Overnight at hotel.

  • DAY 02: RIO BY DAY: CHRIST BY TRAIN, SUGARLOAF, And PANORAMIC TOUR WITH LUNCH

    Breakfast at hotel, you’ll be picked up from your hotel and taken through downtown Rio for a panoramic tour. See the Sambrodome, stop at the Metropolitan Cathedral and discover the Cinelandia Square and its wealth of historical buildings. The Municipal Theatre, National Library, and National Museum of Fine Arts are all on your way as well as you head towards the Urca neighbourhood, home of Sugar Loaf Mountain.Ride the iconic cable car all the way up to the summit and admire the jaw-dropping vistas. Stopping at Urca Hill mid-way you can take advantage of the spectacular vantage point overlooking Guanabara Bay and its islands, the Rio-Niteroi bridge and Corcovado mountain. Finish your ascent to the top of Sugarloaf, at a height of 396 metres where you can enjoy the most gorgeous views of the Copacabana beach and Santa Cruz Fortress with your camera at hand to capture this special moment!. Enjoy a lunch at a barbecue house before you head over to the base of Corcovado Mountain via the Cosme Vehlo Train. Ride through the lush and dense Tijuca rainforest to the towering Christ Redeemer statue crowning the Corcovado summit. Standing guard over the city of Rio, not only does it boast impeccable views, but the statue itself has a fascinating history—your knowledgeable hometown guide will share all the secrets with you before you head back to your hotel.  Overnight at hotel.

  • DAY 03: ANGRA DOS REIS ARCHIPELAGO CRUISE WITH LUNCH

    After breakfast, proceed to The town of Angra dos Reis has been settled in time and time again since the early 1500’s. There are a whole bunch of beautiful old buildings which point back to its colonial past when the town was well known for its port and as an agricultural centre. A schooner boat awaits you at the dock to take you along on a cruise around a fair few of those islands, where you’re bound to want to dive in to the sea to have a dip as the enticing turquoise blue waters practically pull you in. After that, you’re sure to be a peckish so you’ll certainly lap up a delicious lunch where you can pick between hot and cold dishes at the self-service buffet. After getting inside the boat, you shall be treated to five hours on the shores. The 1st stop off will be at the island of Cataguazys, the 2nd stop off will be at blue lagoon and the 3rd stop off shall be at Freguesia´s beach where you’ll trail into Ilha Grande where you’ll stop to fill up on some lunch and after all of that you head along to Piedade´s pier.

    You have the chance to get in to the water at any and all of the stops if you fancy it and therefore the only time where it is not appropriate to swim is when you’re feasting out on your lunch. The entire tour will be on the boat and thus not in the city, just to be clear. The type of food you can expect to find ranges from steak, chicken, fish, salad, rice, beans and fries.  Back to hotel, overnight at hotel.

  • DAY 04: RIO DE JANEIRO TO SALVADOR

    Breakfast at hotel, checkout proceed to airport to catch the flight towards Salvador, arrives Salvador airport, our representative will meet you and transfer to hotel.  Overnight at hotel.

  • DAY 05: SALVADOR PANORAMIC TOUR

    Breakfast at Hotel – Allow yourself to be entranced by this half-day tour of the vibrant city of Salvador de Bahia. With its charming old town, a vibrant musical scene and popular Carnival celebrations with strong African influence, it is considered to be the cultural capital of Brazil. We’ll visit Dique do Tororo, with its images of Afro-Brazilian Orixas, the Lower City, the Forte de Mont Serrat, the Lacerda Elevator and the Mercado Modelo craft market.The tour begins at the Dique de Tororo where you can admire the impressive sculptures of the Orixas, syncretic afro-Brazilian deities, by local artist Tati Moreno. We’ll also be able to see the outside of the impressive Fonte Nova football stadium, one of the venues for the 2014 World Cup. Next we’ll go down to the Lower City for a visit to the magnificent 18th Century Church of Nosso Senhor de Bonfim, an important pilgrimage site. We’ll continue to the Forte of Mont Serrat, one of Bahia’s oldest fortresses where you enjoy breath-taking views over the city and out to the Atlantic Ocean. From here we’ll make a short stop at the Mercado Modelo craft market where you can stock up on hand-made souvenirs, including good luck charms and musical instruments. The tour ends with a visit to the Elevador Lacerda, a beautifully restored Art Deco elevator connecting the Cidade Alta with the port and market. Do not miss the 17th Century Town hall with its impressive arches, just opposite, before returning to the hotel.  Overnight at hotel.

  • DAY 06: DEPARTURE

    After breakfast, checkout from hotel transfer to airport for catching the flight after a memorable trip.
