Enjoy a delicious breakfast at your hotel. Meet our representative by morning for your day tour of Tirana city. This day you will be guided through the picturesque streets of Tirana. Your guided tour will include many attractions of Tirana including the majestic façade of the National History Museum. A stunning piece of architecture is adorned with a gigantic mosaic known as ‘The Albanians’. This is one of the most well-made examples of late Albanian Socialist Realism in the country which dominates Skanderbeg Square. Continue your tour by exploring the historical sights such as Scanderbeg square, Ethem Bey mosque, and the main government street. Drive pass by the communist landmarks like the Blloku area, where villas were once occupied by members of The Politburo (a former leading sect of the Party of Labour of Albania). Recently they have transformed into a lively centre of Tirana’s nightlife where trendy bars, cafés, and fashionable clubs make the night active. Next, you will get on a cable car and ride up Dajti Mountain. The scenes from the cable car and from the cliff are stunning. Enjoy the stunning panoramic view of Tirana city and the Adriatic Sea in the distance.

Next, you will be escorted to Durres, the second biggest town in Albania., The city with a rich history that draws over 2500 years and still maintains some interesting attractions to visit. Within the downtown area, we will visit the archaeological museum to explore the history of the city. And then you will be guided to the ruins of the Roman amphitheatre, Byzantine walls and the centre of the new town. In the afternoon back to Tirana. Overnight at Tirana Hotel.

Enjoy a delicious breakfast at your hotel and then meet our representative at your hotel by 09.00 am. Today, you will be escorted to the UNESCO town of BERAT, the gem of Albania. Explore the old Ottoman town with our guided tour of the old district of Berat. Pretty white buildings rested on the hill amid pine forests is a stunning visual that you should capture. Scroll through the narrow cobbled streets and finally reach Berat Castle located on the hills of Mount Tomorr. The castle allows you to take in the breathtaking views (you will learn why it is known to Albanians as ‘The City of a Thousand Windows’).

Then you will be guided to APOLLONIA Archeological site located in southwestern Albania. Built by Greek colonizers on the lands of the Taulanti Illyrian tribe. In Apollonia, you will find a nice blend of unique monuments, archaeology, and landscape. All this landscape forms a special atmosphere that is hard to find anywhere in the Mediterranean.
The antique city of Apollonia is one of the best known and influential classical cities in the country. The site is an important destination for cultural tourism and that is the main reason why it has been visited by a pretty high number of tourists every year. In the afternoon back to Tirana. Following a delicious breakfast at your hotel, you will be escorted to a guided tour of KRUJA. Start your day by visiting the Skanderbeg Museum, a rich ethnographic museum inside the castle, and experience inspirational views out to the Adriatic Coast.

You will get enough time to scroll through the mediaeval bazaar full of souvenirs and handicrafts. We will continue our trip to SHKODRA (approx. 1 hour 30’ drive) close to the border of high Montenegro. Visit the Rozafa castle and central part of the town. Shkodra is one of the oldest and most populated cities in Albania’s north. With gorgeous scenes on the way there and a surprisingly metropolitan and small downtown core, relaxing after your journey to get here couldn’t be easier. Back to Tirana. Overnight at Tirana Hotel.
