When you arrive in Yerevan an English speaking representative will be met with you and take you to the hotel of your choice. The rest of the day is free to discover the energetic capital of Armenia, Yerevan on your own.
The breakfast should be taken at the hotel and then proceed to take a walking tour around the city of Yerevan. Visit Republic Square, Opera Square, Northern Avenue, as well as Cascade complex with a view of the whole city. Visit Vernissage which is an arts and crafts market where locals sell their creations. Spend the rest of the day free and easy.
In the morning after breakfast, proceed to Garni, where there is a beautiful Hellenistic temple on the cliff. Go to Geghard, the monastery complex that is included into the list of the World Heritage Site. Back to Yerevan through the Victory Park where you get to see beautiful views of the city. Use the evening to go shopping in local markets.
Have breakfast before going to Lake Sevan, which is considered to be the jewel of Armenian state. Go to Dilijan National Park which is also called the “Armenian Switzerland” and to Haghartsin monastery. Proceed to Tsaghkadzor – a resort town famous for skiing, and climb Teghenis Mountain for the view. At night return to Yerevan.
After breakfast, drive to Khor Virap monastery with wonderful views of Mount Ararat. Taste the wine in Areni village at a winery, see the Bird’s Cave and the medieval Noravank monastery located in the beautiful Noravank Gorge. Stay overnight in Yerevan.
