A larger Emirate than Dubai and has a coastline on both the West and East Coast of the peninsula. The city tour of Sharjah will start with a photo stop at the Cultural Square of Sharjah. The square was designed by the famous Carlos Marinas Rubias, intended to portray the spiritual heart of Sharjah. The popular landmarks in the surroundings include the ruler’s office, the Ahmed Hanbal Mosque, and Cultural Palace.

The next stop will be Al Majarrah Souk, Once a souk now a museum home to some of the best collections of exquisite Islamic artefacts from all around the world. Stop at Al Hisn Fort, built-in 1823 and converted into a museum in the year 1997. In the early days, this fort was Sharjah’s headquarters and the residence of the ruling family. When it was completed this fort was the biggest and most important structure in Sharjah.

The next stop on your day trip will be the Blue Souk, the market is an authentic Arabic market and a popular tourist attraction in Sharjah. The blue souk is the best place in the Emirate to find collections of jewellery, carpets, textiles, or antiques. The final stop of your city tour will be the King Faisal Mosque which is spread across 12,000 square meters and is one of the largest in the region.
